un sito su Blythe, in italiano
(I've been procrastinating on this site for, like, 3 whole years. As a result, it turned out spurious and messy and unfinished.
I'll tidy it up in time, adding content and -hopefully- the general dollie site.
Italian-speaking.)
Two more winamp skins from way back.
Well, in fact the second one is pretty new and sacchan made it.
I should update/check Vox more often.
ROR! Lookit, Sidekick, it's Death Note movie 2. :p
Joyce joined us last Friday
At long last the wereBlythe family got its quiet, studious, skinny-legged, brown haired ger. :3
She was adopted from a previous household and needs some ophthalmological care (i.e. chip swapping), but all considered she's in pretty good shape.
Her hair is so surprisingly soft!
My Cozy's hair has always been rather frizzy (and she was nrfb!), so I somehow expected Aztec's to be a bit coarse as well.
Well, it is so not! :D
I should have fixed her pink chips this afternoon, but I got sidetracked and ended up giving Miss M (the saran reroot I started almost a year ago) a long-due haircut.
She could be much better, but I am not that well-acquainted with scissors.
(But I love my dolly anyway. Flaws and all.)
Snatched from the wondrous Stella.
I can't stop playing this silly little ad from ancient Italian teevee.
Oh, those were happier times...
How did it go so wrong?
My new computer, which I have named Mokona.
(Go on, laff at me! It is whitish and cute after all.)
The machine on which I have been practising over the weekend.
It belonged to my paternal grandmother.
I'm not sure how old it is. The booklet says 1928, but I doubt it is that old.
It does the best stitch ever, way better than any modern machine.
Also, the non-electric pedal sort of counts as working out. :P
So, I like to make websites and my dear friend miss D loves to make winamp skins.
We used to keep an archive of our stuff, like, years and years ago, but then it died.
Until I needed an excuse to get to know Wordpress more closely and so here it is: a tiny site we will update weekly until we run out of D's backlog of skins.
They're all Winamp Classic skins - that's what I still use in this time and age of iTunes, Media Players and Winamp Modern! :D
Honestly, I don't need anything more than good old winamp's basic functions.
(Well, 'cept for iTunes to load up my iPod, that is. :P)
They're mostly picture-based skins, but later on we'll be posting some spiffy, traditional-looking (well, sort of...) picture-less skins as well.
(...Omigod. I can't believe this stuff is back up after so many years.
I can't belive I'm still around the internets after so many years!!)
What albums are in heavy rotation for you right now?
Regina Spektor - Begin to Hope, which is awesome.
Neko Case - Fox Confessor Brings The Flood, which I like very much.
I'm From Barcelona - Let Me Introduce My Friends, which Pitchfork approves of, hence everybody in the musicnerdsphere does too.
The Pipettes - We Are The Pipettes, which tires you out after a while, but is pretty nice and polka-dotted anyway.
Tommy heavenly6 - Tommy heavenly6, which -SHUT UP!- is fun.
PUFFY - Splurge, which -shut up!- is also much fun.
the girl far right has lovely hair :) read more
